The Dickens Festival, December 2nd, 3rd and 4th, an annual Village celebration of the author of A Christmas Carol, features costumed characters, decorated streets and shops, Victorian entertainment and food. This holiday festival offers many free or low-cost attractions.
Many performances, an old-fashioned marketplace on East Main Street, carriage and trolley rides, a lantern-lit house tour of historic homes and a Grand Final Parade are sponsored by the Greater Port Jefferson Northern Brookhaven Arts Council.
