Open Time Play– A PJCC Tradition
We have a wonderful concept at our club called “open time.” Every Tuesday morning 7AM to noon, Thursday evening from 6 PM to 9 PM, Saturday and Sunday morning from 7 AM to noon the lower four courts are reserved for open play. It is a one set format with no-ad scoring. Players rotate in on a first come-first serve basis. After the set is finished, you play with another group. With this format, members can play with all levels, all ages and meet new people for future games.
Ladder Play
Men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles and women’s advanced singles.
Interclub Play
Men’s and women’s teams play home and away matches against other local clubs.
USTA Teams
Competitive USTA play throughout the region.
Club Championship
Dick O’Rourke Tournament
First Friday Socials
Mixed doubles round robins and refreshments on the first Friday evening of the month.
Tennis Association Meetings
Welcome Breakfast and Year-End Meeting to elect officers.
Tennis Board Meetings
The Tennis Board meets the first Wednesday of the month. Members are encouraged to attend.

Private Lessons Available

All instruction is under the careful direction of our USPTA Head Professional, Eric Dunnett, former instructor at World renowned tennis facilities including Indian Wells Tennis Garden and The Riviera Country Club. Become a better tennis player: bridge the gap between your practice level and match play level. Explore your strengths and build your game around them to improve your winning percentages. Clinics Available

Stroke Production
The workshop focuses on the stroke of the day, emphasizing stroke production, footwork, and strategy. This “Play to Win” session will explore the elements of the complete player, Technique to Win, Train to Win, and Think to Win. Become a better tennis player. Cardio
Cardio Tennis is a new, fun group activity featuring drills to give players of all abilities an ultimate, high energy workout. We use music to enhance the experience. Music creates a whole new feeling for tennis. It is more about getting people moving and active…less on hitting great forehands and backhands. If you are looking for a great new way to get in shape and to burn calories, you must try Cardio Tennis. Clinic limited to eight players. 1 hour clinic is available to members and non-members. Custom Clinics

Junior Tennis Leagues

Players join teams based on playing level and age for a summer long tournament league. Each week the team has an instructional clinic with the club pro and plays matches against other clubs and teams.

Teams restricted to eight players per team. To reserve a spot prepay at pro shop. Season starts the first week of July.

Pee Wee’s (ages 4-6)

Pee wee tennis program is designed to introduce kids to the game of tennis in a fun and rewarding way using the Quickstart tennis format. Children perform tennis related warm-ups and exercises followed by building hand eye coordination skills and learning basic tennis fundamentals.
