FEMA has approved the East Beach project, The maintenance facility projects continue at the Port Jeff Country Club, As of Friday November 29th ICE Skating is open at the RINX at the Village Center – and will continue to mid March, as of Dec 2nd parking in the village is now FREE – so come dine and shop with free parking until March 15th 2014. Dickens Festival 2013 will start Friday December 6th with opening ceremonies! More Information
Mayor Garant joined with Victoria of Open Cupboard Food Pantry at Infant Jesus to reach out to all residents who who either are in need this Holiday Season or can donate non perishable food, clothing or other household items. It’s Regatta time in Port Jeff again – Sept 7th with Ralph Macchio as Sailor on the Mather Team! Mather Hospital and Village of Port Jefferson Renew Sailing Rivalry to Benefit Pancreatic Cancer Treatment and Research.
Sailing teams from John T. Mather Memorial Hospital and the Village of Port Jefferson will renew their friendly rivalry in the second annual Village Cup Regatta to benefit pancreatic cancer treatment and research.
The Regatta, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 7, is presented by the Setauket Yacht Club in collaboration with the Village of Port Jefferson and the Port Jefferson Conservancy and takes place on Long Island Sound off Port Jefferson. The first Regatta cup went to the Village of Port Jefferson.
