Architectural Review Committee
The Architectural Review Committee is an advisary committee to the Board of Trustees and the Planning and Zoning Boards. Although the Village Trustees adopted architectural guidelines it is the ARC’s charge to not only implement these but to recommend any design and/or construction guidelines and aesthetics that would enhance the Village’s historic and nautical heritage.
The ARC reviews most every sign application for style, material and content, making recommendations that help keep our Village signage in a vintage, historic nature. Most recently the ARC worked closely with the EPA on the design materials, overall architectural site plan and landscape plan for the new water treatment facility located at Carolina Field. The committee meets usually at least every month or on an “as needed” basis.
